Maldives Islands.
It is a country of Islands derived from the Hindi word dheeb/deeb which means Island or the ancient Sri Lankan Mahiladiva i.e. Island of Women. The Maldives spread aproximately 90000 square kilometers. It consists of many small Islands which makes it disappear on the World Map. It is lowest country with average of 1.5 meters (4 ft. 11 in) above the sea level which makes it the lowest country of the world. These Islands can be found in Indian ocean, its usuall temperature is between 24 C to 33 C throughout the year.
These Islands are full of Coconut Palms. Maldives having Plenty of species of sea life which also is one of the main commercial resource of the country. It has a deversity of sea life, with corals and over hundreds of species of fishes like reef fish to reef shark, moray eels, and wide variety of rays like manta, stingray and eagle rays. Maldives also called the home for whale sharks.
Maldives Official Religion is Islam and its population is proximately 300,000 living on 185 islands of this country while the others are solely for the purpose of tourism and agriculture. So the tourism is one of the major part of the income of this country. Maldives with more than 89 resorts and over 17,000 beds hosted over 600,000 visitors or tourists annually. Male on Hulhule island is the only place where locals and foreigners are likely to interact directly. So it could be the best place for honey moon or newly married couples.
